Role:
- The Nurse Advisor will work in partnership with the External Sales team, nursing team, and call centre staff, and management to promote the Home Delivery Service to our customers, and patients.
- To grow the Home delivery service via New Patient Registrations
- To provide clinical assessments for patients, to achieve KPI’s and targets in line with company expectations and strategy
- To adhere to the company’s compass point, vision and shared values at all times, and to act in a fair and ethical manner that reflects Bullen Healthcare within the market place, and to be an ambassador for the company
- The nurse advisor with NMP qualification will be responsible for the prescription management of the nurse led services and other new accounts.
Service Delivery
- Act on clinical referrals from customers and visit patients within KPI, set time frames.
- To assess the patient for a relevant stoma device or appliance.
- To provide the best quality service to patients and customers.
- To provide communication to all relevant parties re the patients care as per KPI, set time frames and quality.
- To work in conjunction with hospital trusts, or CCG’s to support and deliver their aims and objectives
- To provide telephone assistance and support to individuals requiring continence and/or urology/stoma products where required. Provide support, information and referral as indicated
- Share knowledge and skills with team.
- To provide training and education to customers based in a variety of clinical settings including nursing homes, clinics, hospitals, and community settings.
Professional Development, Skills and Qualifications :
- Please apply if you an experienced urology or continence nurse specialist
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of bladder and bowel function and management
- To have a full understanding of the clinical needs of the patient for stoma devices and appliances usage
- Have a full understanding of stoma care
- Be able to train and support patients for procedures as per ASCN guidelines
- Maintain registration as a practicing Nurse and adhere to the legal requirements
- Continually maintain competence and upgrade skills and knowledge
- Demonstrate a commitment to reflective practice and continuous quality improvement
- Manage the priorities of service provision and workload to ensure effective service is provided within set KPI’s
- Ideally have V150/V300 if NMP – the company will put you through these if you haven’t got them already
